Alongside her regular weekly choirs and singing groups, Sophie’s singing work includes; session recording, choral composition, running group harmony singing workshops in community & educational settings and performing as a singer.
Performances in recent years include working with Helen Chadwick Song Theatre and singing backing vocals for Bristol based band Mesadorm and joining, as a singer and song-writer, the Stroud Fringe Choir…a choir with a band mentality…where songs are written & arranged by singers in the choir.

Aug 2017: Singer in ‘Stroud Fringe Choir’ – choir with a band philosophy with all compositions written by members of the Choir. They held their first ever performance at Stroud Fringe Festival 2017 – on the Good On Paper Stage.

February 2016: ‘Songs For The Way Home’ – with Helen Chadwick Song Theatre. Sophie sang as part of an a cappella trio with Helen Chadwick & Sained Jones performing a collection of fun, quirky and moving songs composed by Helen Chadwick.

May 2014: ‘Frock’ – Wedding performance with Eleanor Holliday, Daisy Burt & Sophie Sterckx, singing two vocal arrangements by Lucy Holliday, in the church as part of the ceremony.
November 2011: ‘In A Town’ – Sophie performed as a singer – with Jennifer Bell Company. ‘In A Town’ was a piece on ‘song-theatre’ composed by Jennifer Bell and performed at the Bristol Old Vic Studio Theatre.
