January 6th – Sophie will be singing with the Stroud Fringe Choir’ – performance at the Good On Paper Stage event held at The Marshall Rooms in Stroud. Sophie will also be again singing backing vocals for the brilliant ‘Mesadorm’ at the same event. More info and event info for Mesadorm on their Facebook page.


Dec 2017: Backing vocals for ‘Mesadorm’ – The Crofters Rights – Bristol.

Nov – Dec 2017: Session Recording Work – recording & multi-tracking multiple songs for the NEW NVN teaching Songbook & CD, including two of her own compositions.

Nov 2017: Harmony Singing Workshop – group session for Sunday Social in Rodborough – a community group funded by the Loneliness Foundation – a charity set up in memory of and inspired by the late, Jo Cox.

Oct 2017: Harmony Singing Workshop – group session for Steiner Kindergarten Teacher Training Residential – Hawkwood College.

Sept 2017: Singing backing vocals for ‘Mesadorm’. Mesadorm is the exciting & dynamic sound creation of Blythe Papino and band members Aaron Zahl, Daisy Palmer, Jo Silverston and David Johnston. More info and event info for Mesadorm on their Facebook page.

Aug 2017: Singer in ‘Stroud Fringe Choir’ – choir with a band philosophy with all compositions written by members of the Choir. They held their first ever performance at Stroud Fringe Festival 2017 – on the Good On Paper Stage.

August 2017: Harmony Singing Workshop – group session for Steiner Kindergarten Teacher Training Residential – Hawkwood College.

May 2017: Session Recording Work – recording and multi-tracking for Rick Novak – for his song ‘Drifting’.

Helen Chadwick Song Theatre:

February 2016: ‘Songs For The Way Home’ – by Helen Chadwick Song Theatre. Sophie sang as part of an a cappella trio with Helen Chadwick & Sained Jones performing a collection of fun, quirky and moving songs composed by Helen Chadwick.

They performed at: Aberystwyth Arts Centre – Wednesday 24th Feb. Shropshire – Thursday 25th Feb. Warwick – Friday 26th Feb. Lansdown Hall, Stroud – Sunday 28th. More details and future performance dates at

July 2016: ‘Songs For The Way Home’ at Musicians Without Borders Fundraising Concert.

Sophie sang in a trio with Helen Chadwick & Zara Ramm performing ‘Songs For The Way Home’ material.

The concert Line up also included Painswick Community Choir led by Sophie SterckxBath Song Club led by Tessa McGinn, Singer & Kora player Daisy Burt and a ‘Drumscapes’ set with Jon Sterckx. For more info on Musicians Without Borders please visit:

March 2016: Epic Journeys’ – by Sheila Macbeth

Sophie was the soloist in a choir concert composed and directed by Sheila Macbeth. March 2016 Performance dates: Fri 4th & Sat 5th March 2016 – Lansdown Hall & Gallery, Stroud, Glos. 7.30pm.

May 2014: ‘Frock’ – Wedding performance with Eleanor Holliday, Daisy Burt & Sophie Sterckx, singing two vocal arrangements by Lucy Holliday, in the church as part of the ceremony.



Jennifer Bell Company:

November 2011: ‘In A Town’ – Sophie performed as a singer – with Jennifer Bell Company. ‘In A Town’ was a piece on ‘song-theatre’ composed by Jennifer Bell and performed at the Bristol Old Vic Studio Theatre.
